A Funny Thing Happens to Solar Power when it Snows

Yesterday it was overcast and snowing all day – first time ever my solar panels produce zero energy. They were covered in three inches of wet snow, and I wasn’t about to climb up on the roof to remedy the condition.

Today it was sunny, but it took near all day for the snow to melt off the panels. Got a 10% return on the day anyway.

I am thinking it snows so little here, but what about in areas where it accumulates for days? Elon?
