Autumn in Piney Point – a Working Holiday

It’s not the Kettle Moraine of Wisconsin or a Glorious New England in Blazing Color, but Fall is Here!

I wish I could have seen my family and friends in Wisconsin, as it has been years since I was back, but there is work at hand at home and I only have a week away from Querétaro. I rented a massive Dodge Ram 4×4 and made two runs to the dump and two to Habitat for Humanity to rid myself of excess stuff from the many domestic contract assignments. Two runs with two trucks as my Mazda pitched in as well!

I replaced a damaged overhead microwave with a new stainless steel one and picked new colors for the interior – all with the long-term intent turning my Piney Point home into a rental property in 2013. It is not easy, but I have help.

No turkey tomorrow, but a relaxing day planned. I still love it here and have little desire to return to sunny Mexico – but have few options, at least until the new year. Ah – all will be fine retrurning renewed after a full week off. My house is looking so much better and I have two days remaining.
