Barcelona Revisited One Year Later

It was one year ago that I had spent ten days in Barcelona, and I regret ever leaving. But there was no way for me to stay. After thirteen months on sabbatical, it was time to replenish my bank account.

My guide Anthony provided insights only a guide could, as we walked, biked and scooted about the city. His knowledge of the architecture and history were unsurpassed!

I must say, staying at a five star hotel on La Rambla helps, but it wouldn’t have mattered too much. I got a taste of a city and a culture where the important things matter. Life is to enjoy!

I know this – Barcelona is a city that I must return to. Anthony, I hope you are not booked when I return. I’ll let you know in advance.

Oh, an added note: about 11:40 p.m. the President announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed after a firefight, and US forces took custody of his body. Sweet!
