View from my Backyard Today
President’s Day 2003 I (foolishly) opted to drive from Maryland to Connecticut via I-95, as the worst blizzard of the season tracked behind me. I made it only by following the fresh tracks of a big truck for a few hundred miles.
When I got through New York City, things got worst. Amazingly I made it to within a block to my rental home before getting stuck in a drift. I didn’t mind walking that last block!
Today I opted for a brief walk outdoors to appreciate the snow. Then I soaked in my Jacuzzi tub to thaw out. I think I am a bit wiser in 2016!
