Dusk on St. George Island

Dusk on St. George Island

It’s hard to believe that this island was founded in 1634, and was home to one of the first battles of the Revolutionary War. Of course, Native Americans arrived here around 1300 AD. If history is to be believed, a tribe known as the Cuttatawomen occupied this land.

For me it was simply a reprieve from winter, with temperatures in the mid-50s there was no excuse not to get a walk in. I feel much better!
