This is the best time of the year to visit Northern California – it is the only time that it is green! I couldn’t help taking a cruise past my old home in El Dorado Hills. It looks the same, but with new home building at a frantic pace, and far fewer FOR SALE signs.
At whim I opted for a brief adventure to a place that I used to hike. But I have never seen it so green, and actual bubbling water flowing through the creek!
There is so much untold history here in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. On to Donner’s Pass!
