Houston at Dusk – Thankfully I only have to Endure the Airport

I had one of those rare trips when everything went as planned. I could sleep in on my day of departure. I had ample time to grab some good food in both DC and Houston. I had good seats and interesting seatmates.

Upon arrival, I flew through Mexican Immigration and got the ever-so-lucky green-pass-to-go customs light. A cab was waiting to speed me off to Milenio Tres.

I arrived at my house only to be invited to a neighbor’s party. They were entertaining their employers from Japan (a large commercial building developer) and the food and wine were fantastic.

Likely the only glitch was two young guys getting into a minor fist fight after one, apparently, insulted a other’s mother! No harm done as it was a bit too much wine talking and they made up before the evening ended.

Sunday I simply relaxed and I am now back to this routine called work. A week away was glorious given all we accomplished at my home.

I failed to mention that my 30 Day Challenge was a dismal failure. All one can do is start again and I will do that shortly.
