It is not clear to me why the masses put up with winter – at least until they retire and move to some god-awful place like Florida, Texas or Arizona. But who am I to judge.
I am here back in Blacksburg, VA and most of the students are gone visiting family. What a wonderful place this is when the students are gone – especially during the summer.
So they will return, winter will be ugly for two more months and I am missing life in California (but not Mexico). No matter, as it is a new year, full of hope, and I don’t have to waste anymore time watching football. My foul mood will improve.
