iPhone 4 vs Razr Droid Maxx

I’m guessing here – the DROID RAZR MAXX is way cooler than my old iPhone 4

Well as cool as my iPhone 4 is, Verizon won’t allow me to upgrade to an iPhone 4s until December. And of course that would be a dumb move, as the iPhone 5 will be out by then. Franky, as phones, iPhones suck, but who bothers to talk anymore.

My original Motorola Razr semi-dumb phone sits customed-cradled in the little storage bin between the seats in my 325xi. It was my mom’s until she died, but I kept paying the extra $9.99 a month to keep it as an emergency backup in case I ever forgot to bring my iPhone with me. That has come in handy on more than one occasion.

So a coworker showed my his new Motorola DROID RAZR and I fell in love. I logged onto Verizon Wireless, changed the old Razr phone number from a Wisconsin 920 area code to a California 916 area code. Then I placed the order for my new Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX – what a bargin at $299 plus state and local taxes (just kidding, it was a rip-off).

Do I need both an iPhone 4 and a Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX?  Likely not, but for $50 a month more I now have two. How pathetically disgusting is that for a late tech adaptor?

Ha –  to top it off the old beloved Razr still sits cradled in the space between the seats in the 325xi and is good for a 911 call. I hope that I never need it!

More to come, when the DROID RAZR MAXX arrives in two days.
