Last Night in Piney Point

Last Night in Piney Point

Mission of this trip: move the shop tools, equipment and exotic materials to California in a shipping Pod, secure the house for the winter, and transport my little Ford Focus to the West Coast. No holiday cheer for me.

Loading the Pod went faster than planned (I had some help). The house is clean and organized; the security system up and running. Tomorrow morning the house hibernates for the winter.

I’m thinking I may regret not shipping the car as well: rain and possible snow tomorrow through Virginia; the same when we drive through New Mexico on New Year’s Eve.

If all goes as planned, I’m back at my second home in California New Year’s Day. Then the fun begins: back to work on the new CFRP aircraft AND continued development of the carbon fiber furniture prototypes for a crowd funding event in May. One task funds the other quite nicely.
