Clearly the best benefit of kayaking is the consequence of having no choice but to develop upper body strength. Fishing has it merits as well, but I get bored quickly.
So I paddle to remote locations with my GoPro and newly waterproofed Canon S110. I miss all the great shots of ospreys defending their nests and stingrays wanting a little human attention.
But at high tide the fallen trees seem eager to be photographed. So this is easy.
Paddling back to Potomac Beach is not so easy – but I feel that the day was well spent when I do!
