The Autumnal Equinox

 A Surprisingly Good Jazz Trio

I’m home again for the weekend, and the suppressive heat and humidity are finally gone. If only it could stay just like this for a few more months.

It won’t. I packed up two warm coats to take back to Blacksburg in expectation of fall weather. It will be fine.

Meanwhile I spent the day at Artsfest near Solomon’s Island. It was so relaxing, as it was a warm, breezy day. There, of course, was not so much art, and too many crafts. I am not sure how these people survive, sitting mostly, selling little.

Strange creatures can be found at Artsfests!

I came with the intent to buy some art, but only found fluff. I guess this is not the venue for art, in spite of its name. But the locals seemed to enjoy the day, as did I. The food and music were great – and at least those folks made some money.

As well as strange art!

Well, I am here for a purpose – I must get the 325xi repaired and conditioned for the coming winter. The little Ford Focus Titanium will not handle the windy-twisty roads of Appalachia too well this winter.

I just really would like fly off to Spain for the winter. Hmm – that’s a thought!
