California Sky (View from My Infinity Chair)

Some days, especially after a journey, best be spent doing much of nothing, and a bit of something, so as to make the nothing part justifiable. I did spend some time in the garden to cover that.

In retrospect, I wonder if leaving LA in 1992 to head north to Davis, CA was a mistake? Likely not, as the place I left still has folks working there today that worked with me back then – dreadful!

I spent a day back in Piney Point doing much of the same – on my sandy beach with a view of the white-capped Potomac, and Virginia off in the distance – a view far superior than here in my backyard.

For me, there is one insurmountable difference between the East Coast and the West: the gawd-awful humidity from NYC to Key West. Some folks relish in it. Not me – a hot dry sunny breeze is all I need to replenish the soul!
