Home Alone

No, I have not fallen off the edge of the world – I’ve just been very busy with a client who is reluctant to listen to me – thus I have been working like a dog. But no more! Next year I will set this client straight or just move on.

I am disappointed that I could not spend the holidays with family and friends. But this year it was just not possible. Christmas day I drove to San Francisco and hopped in my favorite airline (Virgin America) to DC, with a first class upgrade of course.

Now I am home in Piney Point at a pivotal time. I have five days to decide if I want to put my house up for lease, or not.

You’d think it would be a no brainer, but this house has got all this “stuff” in it. And it is about time to repaint the interior and replace a few appliances to make it rentable. Five days to decide!

As always, my problems are minuscule relative to what much of the world must endure. While I am suffering, there is some reprieve – my Japanese toilet and man-size Jacuzzi tub are certainly two things I miss now living in California. Ha – pretty stupid, huh?
