A 1974 powder blue gem, with the first time-ever yellow turn signals. The first new car I ever brought: $3,295.
I took that car everywhere – east coast – west cost – Kettle Morane and even across the Great Lake Michigan. I slept in it on the road, steamed up its windows on dates. And I changed my own oil.
In my escape from Sheboygan, I drove to Wichita in a blinding snowstorm. When it as time to head to the golden state, it hitched a tow on a U-Haul Truck to Reseda, California.
It helped me start mt first (and short lived) business — a gas line waiting service in LA.
Then it got repossessed.
But here it is again!
