Made it Through the Flyover States for the Last Time

If I-70 is indicative of America’s crumbling infrastructure, thank God for JB. I have never seen an interstate highway is such poor condition. It is an absolute nightmare to drive through Columbus, Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Kansas City.

Day 2 I made it to Topeka. I had to confront a crazy homeless woman to get into the hotel lobby (homelessness and poverty are visible everywhere across this country.) Anyway, yesterday was another long haul through Denver and across the Rockies in a snowstorm.

I rolled into Glenwood Springs frazzled. Thankful I am in a beautiful Courtyard and about to have breakfast,

An eight-hour trip to Las Vegas is planned for today. It should be a stress-free daylight drive, with maybe a few photo stops.
