Actually I am in Springfield, Ohio (about as boring as one can get), but happily checked in to my Hampton Inn – my last night in a hotel.
Pictured is a canyon off of Highway 6 in Utah heading to Grand Junction from a few days ago. This place caught my eye, and I ended up hiking up the canyon for hours (and got my first sunburn of 2016). The little yellow blob in the photo is my Penske Rental Truck.
I encountered a dozen deer, and they did not care for my presence! There are dozens of photos to process from the event, and clearly I am not fit enough to climb to such heights, as every muscle in my body ached for days. But I did it anyway!
Note to self: come back to Utah and explore, but not in a rental truck!
