Simplicity One Chair Prototype

Simplicity One Chair Prototype

We are using Oak for the Prototype Legs – with White Ash, Cherry, Walnut and Mahogany Options Later

Since my client, Mooney International, shut down its California site, we are back to building the prototype carbon fiber chair, now called Simplicity One. We discovered “too light” is not good for a chair, so are now using wooden legs to lower the center of gravity.

The CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) is still light and strong and sexy! The entire Simplicity One Series – tables included – will be able to be moved, handled and assembled by one person with ease! More as it develops.

I am happy that I decided NOT to move to Texas. I survived five hurricanes, and the suffering doe not end when the news crews leave.
