The Original Farmer’s Market – 3rd and Fairfax – First in LA

I love this neighborhood – I could live here – this is the best of LA for the masses.

Except it is unaffordable, and parking sucks.

This farmer’s market used to be a cattle ranch, then an oil field – and since 1934 a farmer’s market.

Really, I love this part of LA, in spite of CBS being a hop away.

No sleaze of Hollywood, no pretention of Beverly Hills – just LA.

Oh and all the major museums and the La Brea Tar Pits are here – so much the better.
