I’m in the heart of the city and this is a dynamic place – too bad it is so damn cold – and little has changed from the heat of the summer. But few care tonight here as it is New Year’s Eve. Every top floor of every high-rise hotel is having a big party – and I’m invited to none. I can’t say I care, as I have just driven eight hours.
Tomorrow begins a new year. As always, I am happy the old one is over. Everyone gets a little boost from this artificial milestone – I think it is needed.
2015 is looking to be an exciting year, but next year at this time I will be somewhere warm – for sure!
