San Francisco Skyscrapers and my New NIKKOR Z 14-30mm

Funny how San Franciscans escape the city on the holidays. Sure, the tourists are in full bore, but tech and finance are on summer holiday. Bingo – dirt cheap hotel rooms – if you know where to look.

My Z-mount wide angle lens finally came in, and I love to use it to shoot big buildings – not to create art or photography – just fun.

When the clouds break up and the blue sky emerges everyone is so-much-more the happier in this crazy city.

One has to wonder: when the big one hits; do you want to be in one of those massive buildings?

Not me.

Oh, but the image quality of the Z7 blows me away (when the focus works) and this wide angle lens is amazing.
